College Meets
Hello everyone. This is Josh and with the college meet season starting to get heavy, we wanted to add a couple new threads on here for our college and club swimmers to communicate in. The first was “Favorite Sets.” Maybe favorite is the wrong word but, if you’ve done a set with your college team that you enjoyed (or didn’t) you can write about it here and show our swimmers what college swimming is about. Club swimmers, feel free to share your favorites, too.
This thread is for our alumni to share their meet results, how they’ve done, how they feel they’re progressing, what meets they’re focusing on. Share a little bit about the rivalries you have, too. Those are always the meets that are the most fun, taking on your biggest rival. For me (at Notre Dame) it was LaSalle University in Philadelphia, and St. Bonaventure in upstate New York. The meets against “The Bonnies” (what we called them, not what they referred to themselves as) were particularly heated and fun.
Anyway, this blog is for everyone to post and share so, let’s hear some chatter out there!
